Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished...

A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. And although his airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone.

But I believe.... Aang can save the world.

Aang's party recently met Zuko and have fled the Southern Water Tribe. They left the Southern Air Temple and were on their way to the North Pole to find a waterbending master when they encountered many new friends.

Now the need to go to the Northern Water Tribe seems less crucial. With Aang's party still traveling north, they are currently located in the southernmost part of the Earth Kingdom, the rich town of Gaoling.

The plot does NOT follow the show exactly, of course.
