Is He/She a Canon?: Canon
Nationality: Earth Kingdom
Location: Kyoshi Island
Alliance: The Avatar, in every way.
Is He/She a Bender?: No
Character's Name: Suki
Gender: Female
Age: Fifteen
Height: Five feet, five inches.
Appearance: The thing about Suki is, in all honest truth, she's average. She's plain. Her mousy brown hair, depending on time of day, is always down in the Kyoshi style, or in a small half pony. Either way, it's always short. Though, on some special occasions, she will put it up fully. Suki really does prefer it short and down though, it lets her move easier, and doesn't get in the way. Nor does she have to worry about it coming undone. Though, despite it's look, it is quite soft to the touch.
Now, for the lovely face. Again, quite plain. Her eyes defy natural earth kingdom nature, being an almost green blue. A few of Kyoshi warriors have always joked about how Suki should've been a waterbender, with how graceful she is and such. She thinks that is quite funny, considering water tribe members are versatile, and Suki is not. But I'm moving into the personality, carrying on with the looks. Her eyes are very almond shaped. Short lashes, defined eyebrows. Very pale skin, their make-up prevents them from getting a tan, along with the mass of clothes they where.
As for clothes, it always varies. Suki is almost always in her uniform, a large green tunic, brown leather armour, golden head piece. The shape of the head piece always depends on rank, and as Suki is Kyoshi leader, she has the second highest ranking piece. The highest is their patron spirit's, Avatar Kyoshi, of course. Her normal clothes are usually just a short skirt and shirt, purplish-green, as the Kyoshi Island's colors are. Now, for shape. Suki is shapely enough. Not considered curvy, but not considered skinny. The word Average comes into play here again. Her feet are remarkably small, considering Avatar Kyoshi's were the biggest of all Avatar's. That is pretty much the look of Suki. Enjoy it while you can.
History: Suki was born the youngest of four children, and the first female child. Three older brothers, her oldest fourteen, Tak, the next twelve,Tikai, and the next eight, Lee, there had been a large gap between the last boy and Suki. When Suki was born, you can guess Suki's father was disappointed about a female child, and not another son. With the five living in Ba Sing Se, he wanted to raise soldiers, not a useless daughter. And then, about three weeks after Suki's birth, they heard of Kyoshi Island, and they saw a window of opportunity. If anything, Suki's parents were opportunists. They were at Kyoshi Island with a year.
There, Suki's brothers continued on with their training to be soldiers, Tikai was even an earthbender. While father spent all of his attention on his boys, mother was preparing Suki in every way. When Suki turned eight, she began training to be a Kyoshi Warrior. By age twelve, she was officially capable of taking two men down by herself. Thirteen, she was gunning of lead Kyoshi Warrior. Several months ago, on Suki's fifteenth birthday, her dream came true. Now, with rumors swirling around that the Avatar has returned, Suki can feel this is her time to shine.
Inventory: Two Kyoshi fans, a sword, and a lot of make-up.
Personality: Suki has always, and will always be, a natural born leader. A fighter. She's always been a protector, needless to say. Suki was just made this way. Not to mention how compassionate she is, though not creative. Suki has always taken things head on, and never cuts corners. She's a marvelous teacher, and her sarcasm only seconds a few people. Suki is stubborn, and powerful, yet easily befriended, and easily fooled. Her moral is good, to no end. She believes the Avatar will return, and she is beyond ready to help him in his battle. Her destiny is to be a warrior of the Avatar, wheather it be Kyoshi, or Aang. We'll just have to see.
Strengths: Fans, blunt force, teaching, the Kyoshi Warriors, climbing, running, endurance, and dancing.
Weaknesses: Technique, plans, thinking ahead, not being impulsive, being a follower, being in distress.
Sample Roleplay: ((SPOILER ALERT! Sample takes place some time after series. IS ALSO KIND OF MATURE. There are no rules saying I can't be explicit, but I've decided to tone it down a bit.))
"Aang, why are you so stressed? I haven't seen you like this forever. Almost since before fighting Ozai. You look like you haven't slept for days." An eighteen year old Katara sighed, rubbing Aang's shoulders. He slumped slightly, burying his head in his arms.
"Katara," his voice was muffled, "I don't know. This whole mending the world thing. It's taken four years longer than it did to fight the firelord!" He growled, his bagged eyes glancing up, "Now, on top of it all, you're pregnant." He paused, watching his wife grab her stomach. Though he did smile fatherly, standing up, now actually taller than Katara, "Sokka and Suki, engaged. Mai and Zuko, married. Toph is pregnant with Haru's child!" Katara shook her head slightly, thinking of the unlikely pair. Along with their age difference, Toph was merely seventeen while Haru was about nineteen.
Toph humphed from the wall, her now long hair swaying slightly as she spoke, "Oh be quiet, I'm not that young." She growled, and Aang shrugged. Sokka and Suki then came into the room, Suki's neck newly branded with a stone, marked with literal fan of waves. The teal, circular object hung on a navy blue strip of silk. Suki's eyes scanned the area before her, looking over to Aang, "Uh, what's going on?" Sokka nodded, walking up a few steps.
"Oh, Aang just hasn't been able to sleep." Katara moaned, thinking about the last four or so nights, Aang constantly awake. She never was one who could sleep when others were awake. Haru then entered the room, him a new occupant of the Fire Lord palace, his father recently passing away. He instantly was next to toph, having a good foot on her. She looked down to her enlarged stomach, cracking her neck looking up.
"Well, Aang. This wasn't going to be fixed easily...." Toph sighed, "When you were training to beat Ozai, you had a map. Water, earth, fire. We're pretty much shooting in the dark. Plus, this personal life stuff shouldn't bother you. We can only fix one thing at a time." Toph finished off dramatically, walking out of the room with Haru in tow.
--------
"So, he's mad. You're pregnant." Haru sighed, sitting in the garden with Toph. She played with the earth a little, raising it and lowering it. Haru almost mimicked her, drawing her face perfectly in the ground, a smile on toph's face appeared with that. An image of her, beautiful, piercing her brain.
"I don't care if he's mad. Him and Katara got married when Aang was sixteen. I'm seventeen, it's okay if I'm pregnant." Toph leaned forward, kissing Haru lightly, "Besides, I love you."
Haru smiled at her happiness, and kissed her back before she broke the kiss, "I love you too."
-------
Mai paced gently from side to side of their quarters, occasionally glancing at her stomach, then the bed, and then back to her pacing. Her feet pounded the floor, though her hair, as always, stayed near perfect. She gulped, watching Zuko enter the room, his eyes widened as he saw her standing there.
"Uh, Mai? Is there something the matter?" He asked sullenly, gliding toward her. He embraced her in his arms, kissing the top of her head.
"Oh, nothing. Other than the fact that we've had two rebel attacks this week, Aang seems to be having a mental breakdown, you're stressed too. Ty Lee's been acting less happy then usual, and..." She paused, or rather, was interrupted by Zuko's kiss. She enjoyed it for a moment, but broke it quickly, "Zuko, I think I'm pregnant."
------
Katara collapsed into Aang's arms as they stood in their balcony, overlooking the garden. Aang's heart twinged as he saw Toph and Haru kissing, his hug loosening around Katara. Katara gripped his toga lightly, refusing to let go, though the truth struck her like a wave of bricks, "Aang, you love her. Don't you?" Katara gulped, biting her bottom lip.
"Katara, yes. I do." Katara swept away, piercing his eyes with hers. She calmly took his proposal necklace off of her, dropped it on the ground, and left. Aang dropped to his knees, next to the necklace, pushing it off the ledge. A single tear dropping down his cheek. He didn't know what to do. Katara was the love of his life, but now, Toph was the forbidden fruit. Sure, he had always liked her in that sense, but up to the point where she was available, he thought it was sisterly. Then, when she got pregnant, and started seeing Haru, it made her feel more like a woman, not Toph.
