History:
Gaille's grandfather was a chief monk at the Northern Air Temple. His name was Huroko and a very important and respected member of the Air Nomads. Huroko was a key figure in Air Nomad society at the time. He was also a master airbender. Huroko could sense trouble brewing and was growing suspicious of the Fire Nation and Fire Lord Sozin due to the fact there garisson increasing more and more as the comet drew closer to passing.
Huroko's suspicions were confirmed during the Genocide of the Air Nomads. Huroko's entire family, except for his daughter were killed. Huroko managed to flee the massacre of the Northern Air Temple, but not without being seriously scared and his Sky Bison dying from very serious burns and deep wounds. They both crashed in anEarth Kingdom mountain range. Hyruko soon died before giving his daughter instructions: Continue the Air Nomad Race in secret and when there are enough, make our presence known. Aria (Hyruko's daughter) crimated Hyruko's body so that the Fire Nation wouldn't find it.
Aria then moved into the village, faking an identity as an Earth Kingdom refugee. Aria soon fell in love with an Earth Kingdom commander. Aria made him promise to keep their Air Nomad heritage secret. Aria taught there children how to airbend. Two children were Earthbenders and one an Airbender. They soon got married and spread out. Soon the Air Nomad race was slowly, slowly rebuilding. Aria's family never knew that there was another airbender or airbenders alive out there.
Generations passed and Airbending was being taught in complete secrecy. Then a boy from the family known as Gaille became an Airbender which he found easy. But one day the Fire Nation invaded and destoryed the village and imprisoned his family. His father and uncle how ever died in a small battle with a Colonel who led the pillaging. Gaille's mother told him everything would be alright and told Gaille to leave and flee to another place and carry on the Air Nomad tradition.
Gaille fled to Omashu and took shelter in an old abandoned apartment and spent a month, stealing brocoli and particularly cabages, with no one to talk to. Gaille eventually realised that his destiny was to search for the other airbenders. Gaille started his search at the Northern Air Temple. There he read airbending scroll after scroll that wasn't already burnt as if it was his destiny. Gaille practiced airbending day by day and became a nomad, teaching himself the ways of the air nomads. Gaille raised himself, eating the growing fruit. But then he heard people coming up the mountain thought it was the fire nation (when really it was the refugees) so he fled using a glider (probably one of the only few left). He travelled from air temple to air temple and occasianlly the Earth Kindom.
Gaille had also apparently learnt how to talk to animals (particularly lemur). He would spend day after day training, bending and going from air temple to air temple, searching for the last of his kind. Gaille no longer thought himself fully as a citizen of the Earth Kingdom but as one of the last of the Air Nomads. Eventually Gaille stopped visiting the northern air temple becuase of all the refugees now populating it. Gaille would play, feed and talk to the lemurs most of the time when not training. Gaille is very carefull not to let himself get caught by the fire nation. Gaille has heard the Avatar has returned and that he is an air nomad and also that he is about his own age. Gaille now searches the air temple and earth kingdom for Aang.
Inventory: Old Air Nomad Glider
Personality:
Gaille may appear shut-up, sealed from the outside world and serious sometimes but really inside, Gaille can be sweet, charming and loyal friend and allie to the end. Gaille does not like being set up, betrayed or having a prank on him..he likes to prank other people instead. Gaille is intelligent, impatient at times, fun, loyal and a brave person. Gaille has a very deep hatred for the fire nation and would sometimes, mostly by accident, harm an innocent citizen from the fire nation. Though despite this, Gaille could never harm a young child.
Gaille at times is wise, focused and quite guiding. Gaille can become a pest at times asking questions like What are we going to do now,? Are we there yet etc. Gaille finds airbending a fun and at times an easy thing. Gaille also shares the trademark Air Nomad vegetarian taste. Gaille doesn't like meat and thinks eating another living creature is completley barbaric at times. Gaille has a strong care for the enviorment and animals and thinks sometimes that mother nature will punish those who disrespect nature and life.
