Is He/She a Canon?: Nope
Nationality: Earth Kingdom
Location: A forest in the Earth Kingdom
Alliance: The Avatar
Is He/She a Bender?: Yes, an Earth Bender
Character's Name: Kichiro
Gender: Male
Age: Fifteen
Height: 5'11"
Appearance:
Kichiro is not the tallest person in the world. He stands at 5'11" and only weighs 160 pounds. Kichiro is built with a very sturdy body that is well proportioned. His body seems to have been carved out of granite, and carved perfectly too. His shoulders are broad and thick. Kichiros stomach is flat and layered with ab muscles that are most impressive. His biceps are nice and healthy looking, as are his calve muscles. He does not look unhealthy in his body structure in the least bit. Kichiros skin is a pale ivory, and Kichiros face is long and oval in shape, his chin more pointed.
His ears are half ovals and his lobes are separate from the the sides of his face. Kichiros nose is long and straight with no weird shapes whatsoever. His lips are soft, but thin. They have a naturally pink tint to them which makes it look like he has a bit of lip balm on. Kichiro's eyes are lemon shaped, and the color of them varies from day to day and mood to mood, though his eyes always stay around the same dark Emerald color. Kichiro's eyelashes are the same color as his hair, a dark brown. His lashes are long and have a natural curl to them. Kichiro's eyebrows are incredibly thick and well groomed. They are shaped and everything.
Returning to Kichiro's hair, it has a beautiful coloration that is quite difficult to find nowadays. Kichiros hair is naturally straight. longer in the front, and just a tad bit shorter in the back. But back in the when he was little, Kichiro's bangs were not side swept. He wore them in the front of his face, as was the style back then. Kichiro's hair has always been easy to tame, and it remains tame able to this day. Kitchiro has a small amount of stubble on his chin.
Kichiros style of clothing looks amazing on him. If you look in any fashion store and you look at the male models in all of their male model glory, put Kichiro in that clothing, you've got Kichiro's clothing style. This is why his mother makes him endure the terrible days when she's designing for people for him to model all of her male clothes, and herself and Ryoko for the womens clothing.
History:
Aya was so small when the Fire Nation attacked the Earth Kingdom village she lived in. She remembers the day so clearly, though she was only twelve. "Mother! Oh, mother, where are you!" Aya called into the house from the back door. Aya had her hands full of her mothers fabric she used for the sewing business. Her mother was a famous designer for the high class citizens of the city Omashu and a lot of people in Gaoling. "Mother!" She screamed. Aya wasn't sure whether her mother wanted the dark Emerald or the light emerald. Aya sighed angrily and stomped off to the shed again, sifting through the fabric and finally just finding plain Emerald. Aya cut off three long pieces and walked slowly up to the door, feeling bad for screaming when it was really her fault.
"Mommy..." Aya said slowly and quietly into the house, hearing nothing but eerie silence. None of her mothers silent mutters to herself, no whiny complaints from customers, nothing. Aya slowly walked to her mothers business room and peered through the cracked open door, seeing her mother. "Oh, mom, you scared me!" Aya walked in happily and tapped her mothers shoulder. She did nothing. "Mommy?" Aya tapped again, and her mother fell to the floor, the pool of blood surrounding her, a knife wound in her chest. Aya shrieked, and commotion sounded in the hallway. Aya peeked out, and saw her father struggling with three fire nation guards. Aya felt her eyes sting as she stayed quiet. Her father looked at her and shook his head ever so slightly. Aya went back in the doorway, but peered out one final time to see the fire nation guard burn her father alive, his screams of terror echoing trough the house.
Tears fell down Ayas cheek as she hid in her mothers stored fabric, waiting. She waited until time had no meaning anymore. Aya stepped out, and the guards were gone. Stepping into the street, she watched chaos everywhere. Fire Nation soldiers set everything on fire, Earth Kingdom civilians, so innocent and so scared, running and screaming from the wrath of the attackers. Aya whimpered before a kid her age knocked her to the ground and dragged her down an alley. Aya was about to scream when he motioned for her to be quiet. Fire Nation soldiers walked by the alley, looking down it and seeing nothing before walking past. Aya felt relief fill her up. She looked to the boy in curiosity, so many questions in her eyes, burning.
He said nothing as he guided her into the forest. They did not talk as they traveled, for days, years, Aya didn't know before she reached the little hatch doors. The boy opened the doors and helped Aya through, her curiosity burning before they entered that huge village underneath the forest floor. Aya spoke the first words she'd spoken in a long time.
"Wow..." She breathed.

Kichiro was born but five years later. Aya and 'the boy', Ryo, were married now. Kichiro was a happy, healthy baby, who was intelligent beyond his years. From day one, he had been a sweet and cute child. Not long after came his little brother, Koji, and his little sister, Ryoko. His little brother was the opposite of him, completely. Seemingly spoiled and nasty, Koji had thrown tantrums and never stopped crying, driving his mother crazy. His little sister however, was like his twin. She was quiet but bubbly, easily laughing and was always the sweetheart of the children, so polite and loved in the family.
When Kichiro was but seven, his brother five, and his sister four, the village was to move to the outside world once more. This would be the first time in a long time, the first time ever for a lot of the children that people would return to the Earth. But they did, and to Gaoling they were to be living. Kichiro remembered the first time he saw the sun like the first time he'd ever tasted white jasmine tea. Kichiro asked his mother was what going to happen when they went up, and she just replied with a smile and a simple 'you'll see'. When they saw the surface, gasps erupted from the crowd of people.
It was so beautiful.
The trees, so tall. The bark of those trees, so rough and different than the smooth leaves and the fresh earth and twigs beneath his feet. Everyone gawked at the outside world, and Aya smiled brighter than she had in a long, long time. Ryo smiled too, one arm around Ayas shoulders, the other holding Ryokos hand as she walked carefully with everyone else to the town of Gaoling. When they finally came to their house, the family of five felt brighter and better than they had in a long time. Kichiro felt positively giddy, spending not one second inside until bedtime, the same was with his brother and sister. While his brother played by himself, Kichiro spent a lot of time with his sister.
But, as the time went by, Koji actually became... nice.... and his sister, strangely enough, even sweeter, though Kichiro rarely changed. He was still a lovely, charming man, generous and chivalrous, almost never losing his temper or patience, and driving people mad at how nice and selfless he was. Koji and Ryoko bonded through Earth bending mini tournaments, and Kichiro taught them whatever he learnt at school. The three were inseparable and closer than any other siblings in the whole Nation.
As Kichiro turned fifteen, Ryoko turned twelve and Koji thirteen. The threes birthdays were even in the same week, so they usually just had one big birthday party with all threes good friends. It was a few days after Kichiros birthday that when all devastation broke out. The devastation of Gaoling. A single man by the name of Ignis wreaked havoc throughout all of Goaling, killing hundreds. Aya and her family all rushed back to the shelter before they too were killed, but Kichiro stayed back and fought back the fires.
But that wasn't it.
Before Ayas family all escaped, Koji tripped, sent straight into some flames. Koji survived, but with severe wounds on his right side and left leg. Everyone who survived managed to escape however, and when the flames were all put out, Kichiro walked into the forest and traveled around, spending time by himself before he met Mai.
Inventory: Nothing except the clothes on his back and several bags of gold.
Personality: Kichiro is very charming, the romantic type. He's a hopeless romantic, you could say. He's respectful, loyal, and kind, though at times he loses his patience and temper, though he's mainly learnt how to control his emotions. In general, Kichiro is a really cute sweetheart. He smiles a lot, and when he does the room glows. He has a cute personality, and is really bubbly and can make friends fast. Kichiro is like a little brother, except much taller. He likes to hang out with girls, in a friendly matter, and knows how to talk well to girls.
Kichiro is smooth when talking; to both girls and boys. He talks to girls like a professional romantic, and to boys well like a good best friend. He's really cool when he has to be calm. He's not clumsy, in fact, he's quite graceful, and is also really quirky. With first impressions, Kichiro looks like a kid - which puts the word "sweet" in your mind, right? That's exactly what Kichiro is, a real nice kid. He can be really understanding, and can relate to people a lot. He won't be mean to people, he just shrugs them off. He doesn't have many enemies, except people who are jealous of him. Kichiro isn't mean at all, all of his bones are generous. Haha, corny.
He can be really nice and energetic, but other times - acts like he's not even there. He doesn't scream or shout, he likes to listen. He isn't much a talker even in big groups, he just listens well and adds comments to some things. Kichiro isn't into the dating scene too much. He's generous to girls, but he doesn't date too many of them. His words are great when he talks to a girl, but he doesn't go off too weird or hard to them.
He doesn't like to cheat, and he isn't afraid of bad things. If you dare him to do something, don't expect him to say no. He listens to rules and follows them when told to. He knows the rules, but he also knows when to break them. Kichiro is a very curios person. If you leave him in a room for too long, he will wonder off. Kichiros always been curious though, especially as a child. He guesses that he never grew out of that stage. That's what people know him for, being a very curious being. Most people say that "curiousity killed the cat", well it hasn't killed him...yet.
Kichiro has a very tough exterior. But that does not mean that he his not a sweet kid. He is, and he would be there if you need a friend. Hey, he isn't a horrible person, just really tough. But always remember this, never mess with his little brother or sister or he won't hesititate to beat the living crap out of you. When you need a friend garauntee that he will be the first one there by your side. What comes along with friendly kid? A very sweet one too. He can be sensitive and sweet, but only when he is around friends. He almost never let's his friends down, that's one thing he always strives for in a friendship.
